Our cottages in Findochty are surrounded by beaches, caves and cliff top paths - great for exploring. Whether your exploration finds you wondering at the mysterious sea creatures living in the myriad of rock pools around the village or hiking off to the far ends of the Speyside Way, there is something for everyone.

The Moray Firth Trail, and National Cycle Network both pass through Findochty.The Speyside Way long distance footpath begins nearby. Moray Ways has details of a comprehensive range of paths and waterways for walking, cycling, horse riding and canoeing.

There are over 60 golf courses in the North East and 46 in the Highland Region. Golf is a very popular pastime in this area and the avid golfer will be spoiled for choice along the Moray coast. The closest course is Strathlene just a ten minute walk from Findochty. Founded in 1877, it offers a challenging course, stunning views and a comfortable club house.
